A man has died as a result of a fire breaking out at a farmhouse in Glenalmond. The emergency services were summoned to the two-storey detached property near Glenalmond at about 17:35 last week. Tayside Fire and Rescue said firefighters wearing breathing apparatus went into the house but the man, who was said to be middle-aged, was pronounced dead at the scene.
